PuzzParty is a small indie project by Mini Tech Co. It's free, and these are the simple rules for using it. By creating an account or using PuzzParty in a game, you agree to them and to our Privacy page.
For players
- You need to be 13 or older.
- Use an email you control. Anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
- Be kind. No offensive or misleading usernames, impersonation, harassment or spam friend requests.
- Don't try to break, overload or scrape the service, or get into accounts that aren't yours.
- We may change a username or remove a photo that breaks these rules, or close accounts that keep breaking them.
Games that offer “Continue with PuzzParty” are made by other developers, not us. You can disconnect any game from your account.
For game makers
If you add PuzzParty to your game:
- Use PuzzParty data only for features inside your game, like showing friends' results.
- Don't sell or share it, use it for ads, or combine it with other games' data.
- Show names and photos only to the player and their friends. Use usernames for anything public, like global leaderboards.
- Keep players' tokens private, and check a player's identity on your server with the PuzzParty API before trusting it.
- When a player disconnects your game or deletes their account, stop using what you got from PuzzParty about them and delete it within 30 days.
- Use the official “Continue with PuzzParty” button, and don't suggest we run or endorse your game.
We verify every game, and may pause a game's access if it puts players at risk. We'll give notice before retiring an API version.
The fine print
- PuzzParty is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- We may change or stop parts of the service, and will give notice of big changes when we can.
- We're not responsible for games made by others, or for losses from using PuzzParty, as far as the law allows.
- You can stop using PuzzParty and delete your account anytime.
- If these terms change, we'll update the date above. Using PuzzParty after that means you accept the new terms.
